I love almost all forms of dance, I think it’s something deep inside most of us. It transcends culture, age & location - it seems to me all civilisations love to dance. From jungle dwellers to city dwellers we are all moved by the rhythm in music & the need to move in some kind of coordination with it. I love dancing, I’m rubbish at it, but I love it. So I’m naturally drawn to photograph dancing, but I want my images to convey the emotion in the dance.

Around 18 months ago I started a dance project called “Dancing in a Dream”. It’s a real slow burner but I’ve finally got enough images to create a separate website section. I’ll be adding to it over the coming months (& years) because this is very much an ongoing project for me.
