My third article has just been published in Derbyshire Life and this one covers my landscape photography. It was fun to write this piece because the images I chose took me straight back to the locations and the emotions I felt at the exact moment I clicked the shutter. That’s the great thing about taking a photograph - you share the moment with others but you forever freeze frame the moment in your mind too.

Derbyshire Life Article 2
I was delighted when earlier this year Derbyshire Life asked me to produce a series of quarterly articles about my photography. The first one was published in May and the second one, covering my underwater photography, appeared this month. I’m really pleased with the layout in the magazine as it does full justice to the images which, for me, are more important than the text. You can read the full article here but it does mess up the layout in this PDF version - cheaper than buying the magazine though ;-)
Next time I will feature some of the iconic landscapes I have visited including Yellowstone, Provence, Cuba and several countries north of the Arctic Circle.
Derbyshire Life Commission a Series of Articles
I’ve always lived in Derbyshire, so it was a great thrill for me when I was approached by Derbyshire Life to write a series of articles about my photography. The first one has just been published and the others will follow in 3 month intervals. I couldn’t be happier tbh :-)
